Weighted blanket add-on

May be used during shampoo services to alleviate the sensory overload that can be caused by reclining back; as well as all the sensations that are attributed to shampooing (may include water on the scalp discomfort, scalp massaging, and the direct contact with another person)

Weighted blindfold add-on
​
May be used during shampoo service for guests that find visual stimulus such as lighting overwhelming while reclining, as well as, the position disorienting.

Optional consultation visit to build raport with guest, highly recommended for younger guest and non verbal guests.

Fidget add-on
​
A variety of fidgets will be made available to make the entire experience more pleasant for the guest that struggle with concentration, hyperactivity, and anxiety.
Limited touching add-on
​
We understand how difficult and overwhelming physical touch can be to people that struggle with disorders of neurodivergency such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention deficit disorders. We are able to offer our services with minimal physical contact, we will also give the guest prior notice of any contact that has to be made.
Calming massage/Relaxing pressure
add-on $15
Light pressure has been proven to help calm and relax neurodivergent individuals, especially when overstimulated by any of their senses. Soft scalp massages or hand and forearm massages can be done in breaks if the guest is becoming overly stimulated throughout their service.
Crystals add-on

Anxiety and stress relieving crystals can be provided to help the guest have a harmonious and relaxing service.

Movement breaks add-on

We understand that high energy guests may not be able to remain seated for extended periods of time, we are able to offer pre-planned movement breaks to allow the guest an opportunity for stress-relieving movement.
Ear plugs add-on $0.50
We understand that sound can also be overwhelming to guest with an alternative sensory need. We can provide ear plugs if the guest finds some sounds overwhelming.

Preferred Greeting add-on
​
Our salon understands that guests with social anxiety and neurodiversity find social interaction difficult and awkward. We can offer a preplanned way of introducing ourselves to each other that may make the interaction easier. (We can greet the guest outside and walk them to the service area. We can offer a handshake or keep the interaction no contact, we will adapt our service introduction to make guest feel comfortable).
Preferred way of being addressed add-on
​
It is an accepted practice of excellence in customer service to use the guests name while offering a service. If the guest is uncomfortable by constantly being addressed by their name, we can establish a preferred way of being addressed prior to the service this could include any pronoun or nickname they would deem more pleasant
Avoid mirror add-on
Guest with differing sensory/social needs may find looking in the mirror overwhelming. We can provide the majority of the service avoiding face on direction of the mirror and giving guest prior notice before they have to be turned to face it.
Avoid eye contact add-on

Guests with neurodiversity and/or social anxiety may find direct eye contact overwhelming and overstimulating. We are able to provide our services with limited eye contact.

Preferred method of
communication add-on
It is our pleasure to accommodate alternative methods of communication. If guest struggles and prefers communication through texting or an alternative communication device, those can be used during the service. English and Spanish are both available
